ELIGIBILITY: All registered subscribers to Columbus Pet Expo email newsletter as of February 1, 2010 are automatically entered to win. Unsubscribing your name from the newsletter list removes your name from the pool of eligible names to win the drawing. On March 28, 2010, one (1) name will be drawn from the pool of names eligible to win and that one person will be notified that they have won the Year’s Free Pet Food (up to $500 value).

WINNING: The winner of the Year's Free Pet Food will be notified via their email address with the announcement: "YOU WON THE PET FOOD CONTEST". The winner must respond via email or phone ((888) 650-6060) to claim their prize. Prizes not claimed within 30 days will be forfeited. Columbus Pet Expo will pay up to $20 in shipping and delivery fees. Any additional domestic and international shipping charges, duties, taxes and sales tax are the responsibility of the winner.

PRIZES: The winner of the Columbus Pet Expo Free Pet Food for a YEAR will be given gift certificates that they can redeem at a local pet food store that carries these products.

LIMITATIONS: Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address. All claims subject to verification.

If, due to a printing, production, e-mail, or other error, more winning Columbus Pet Expo Free Pet Food for a YEAR prizes are awarded or distributed, or more prizes are claimed/redeemed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize. In no event will Columbus Pet Expo be obligated to award more than one Year’s Free Pet Food prize.

Drawing is open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., except employees of Columbus Pet Expo, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each.

All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees are the sole responsibility of winner/offer recipient.

No transfer/substitution of prize by winner permitted.

In order to receive prize, winner must execute Prize Acceptance and Release, which constitutes permission to Columbus Pet Expo, its agencies, promotional partners and participating retailers to use recipient’s name/likeness for advertising/trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Columbus Pet Expo reserves the right to substitute prize/offer of equal/greater value. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Columbus Pet Expo. INTERNET CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Columbus Pet Expo or its employees are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, or for faulty, incorrect or mis-transcribed phone/e-mail transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the promotion. Columbus Pet Expo reserves the right to cancel or modify the online entry if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the program as determined by Columbus Pet Expo, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the online entry portion of the program, a notice will be posted online indicating how to enter via the mail and the drawing will be conducted from among all eligible online entries received prior to termination and all eligible mail in entries received. In the event a dispute arises with respect to the drawing and regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, Columbus Pet Expo will be solely responsible for making a determination as to who the winner is in its sole discretion. An entry made by Internet will be declared made by the “authorized e-mail account holder” and any damage made to the Web Site will also be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized e-mail account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Participant may be requested to provide Columbus Pet Expo with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Columbus Pet Expo.

Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods.

By accepting prize/offer, winners/offer recipients agree to hold Columbus Pet Expo, and its directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of prize/offer.

Winner/offer recipients assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize/offer.

Columbus Pet Expo not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize/offer or in the administration of the promotion.

AVAILABLE PRIZES/OFFERS AND APPROX. ODDS OF WINNING/RECEIVING (UNCLAIMED/UNREDEEMED PRIZES/OFFERS WILL NOT BE AWARDED): Odds of winning will be one (1) divided by the number of eligible email newsletter subscriptions. Odds of winning will vary based on the number of subscriptions.
