2016 All American Columbus Pet Expo Pet Friendly Policy
Pet Friendly Policy -EASY STEPS- PLEASE READ #1 On arrival to the PET EXPO, all pets must pass a behavior test to see if they are well trained and will do good in crowds and with other animals #2 Aggressive dogs will not be allowed in the expo, for the safety of people and pets attending the show. #3 Pets attending must all be licensed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Safety and health concerns for people and pets are our first priority at the show. #4 All dogs must be at least one year of age and spayed or neutered and must be on a non-retractable leash no longer than 5 ft. and kept in control at all times. #5 When you arrive at the show you will need to sign a PET WAIVER or print, fill it out, and bring it to save time!
PLEASE NOTE : WHEN YOU GO TO BUY DISCOUNT TICKETS YOU WILL SEE PET PASSES FOR A DONATION OF $3.00 YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED IN ANY WAY TO DONATE. IT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE TO BRING YOUR PET. ALL DONATIONS ARE SPLIT EVENLY AMONG THE NON PROFIT PET RESCUES PARTICIPATING IN THE MEGA PET ADOPTION EVENT
1. to indemnify and hold harmless, the All American Columbus Pet Expo, the Ohio Expo Center, Buckeye Building, PetConnections, LLC, and Steve Cantin Productions, LLC, for any and all claims of liability and damages from any injury, property damage, loss, claim, or expense that may occur to me while attending the All American Columbus Pet Expo; 2. in attending the All American Columbus Pet Expo with my animal(s) and should any injury occur to any person, other animal or property as a result of the behavior of my animal(s) at the Expo, whether expected or unexpected, regardless of the stimulus for the behavior (i.e., animal’s spontaneous conduct, the conduct of another animal, the conduct of any person or thing, or a combination of any of these), I will be solely liable and be held responsible for any injury or property damage that results there from (including reasonable attorneys fees) and that I will indemnify, hold harmless, protect and defend the All American Columbus Pet Expo, the Ohio Expo Center, Buckeye Building, PetConnections, LLC, and Steve Cantin Productions, LLC, for any and all claims of liability and damages from any injury, property damage, loss, claim, or expense resulting from the behavior of my animal; 3. to report any and all such injuries immediately to the All American Columbus Pet Expo, PetConnections, LLC, and Steve Cantin Productions, LLC; 4. that in bringing my pet into the All American Columbus Pet Expo, I understand that I am doing so at my sole risk, cost and expense and any harm that comes to the animal shall be solely my responsibility; and that I will be solely responsible for cleaning up any messes made by my pet. 5. that my pet is healthy, free from parasites, and has all necessary vaccinations, including rabies and distemper for dogs, and FVRCP for cats. 6. that I understand that if my pet acts in any way considered aggressive or dangerous I will have to leave the show and will not be entitled to any refund.
NEW STRICTLY ENFORCED PET WASTE PICK UP POLICY: The ALL AMERICAN COLUMBUS PET EXPO is all about teaching people about responsible pet ownership . Cleaning up after your pet is a top priority for health and safety for people and pets, in a place with thousands attending. When you check your pet in (at the Pet Check in Area), we provide you with poop pick up bags and paper towels. Clean up stations are also located throughout the show (noted on the floor plan in the show programs you receive when you enter our event). If your pet has an accident you are required to clean it up immediately with the provided materials. PLEASE NOTE: Any pet owner that walks away from their pet's mess without cleaning it up will be asked to leave the PET EXPO and will not be permitted to attend again. Designated doors throughout the show are available for you to take your pet outside, to a Pet Potty Area, so they can take care of business : . You are responsible to clean up after them outside too, like you would any place. People can slip and fall in pet messes and it also disrupts sales for vendors when a mess is not cleaned up right away. We know all responsible pet owners will understand why we must be very strict with this policy. This policy has been developed because, for past few years many people have left behind their pet's messes and caused unnecessary problems for others. Thanks in advance for understanding this new strict policy.
NEW SEATING POLICY No dogs, with the exception of very small dogs that can be held in your arms will be allowed in the bleachers for the events. In the last few years people have taken up numerous seats with big dogs on leashes. It is also unsafe for dogs on leashes to try and navigate bleachers.The chance of a dog or person getting injured is too great. Please use the regular seating areas and have your pet positioned before you on your non-retractable leash. There are also standing areas for viewing shows that are available for you and your pet.
